Good day
I'm currently preparing for the GMAT
Just finished the Sentence correction part and I'm working on Critical reasoning
In fact I've realized that studying the SC helped me a lot in approching the CR
This why I would like to ask:
Should I attak the IR section afterward or the quant instead?
I hope I could make my point clear enough
Thanks!!!

Hi Amadalia,
The Quant and Verbal sections are the only ones that effect your score out of 800; the IR and Essay scores are separate and have no impact on that score. I'd suggest that you start working on the Quant section and save IR for later (IR is actually a combination of the skills that you'll use on RC/CR and some Quant skills/tactics).

You should definitely focus on the quant section first, for several reasons:
- because the IR section is still relatively new, b-schools won't be focusing nearly as much on that score as they do on your 200-800 score.
- the skills that IR tests (percents, statistics, etc) are also tested on quant, so by studying for quant you're also studying for IR.
Good luck!
