Consider the following points GRV1504.
  1. While your 'designation' sounds exotic, the actual nature of your work and achievements really determine the strength of your profile. This is even more relevant to understand given the huge handicap you have in the form of a GMAT.
  2. The DCE pedigree will help some, but exactly because of that too, your peer group can make the GMAT handicap even more pronounced. While the ECs look interesting, nothing jumps out - at least not in the shape and form you have summarized here. How big was the conference for instance? Why was it a big deal what you did?
  3. Overall, if this is an important year for you to apply, and you think you can boost that score by 30+ points, it is definitely worth a re-take. Else, it can be a pretty big bet
