Good morning,I am writing this to ask for help.I did give my GMAT and i scored very poor 510 Q 45 V 17.I want to try again but before starting from scratch i need help in Verbal section .Can anyone help me how should i go for Verbal.
I would be obliged .

SC - work problems in the OG as well as Manhattan GMAT's SC guide or PowerScore Sentence Correction Bible.
CR - Work some Logical Reasoning problems from the LSAT.
RC - Read well written newspapers and periodicals to improve RC.

Received a PM asking me to respond.

It's important to understand your strengths and weaknesses in a bit more detail in order to devise a plan going forward. (Nice job on the quant, by the way!)

Do you think that your verbal score pretty accurately reflects your knowledge of the verbal side of the test? Or do you feel that timing, stamina, or something else adversely affected your score as well (such that your true knowledge level is higher, but timing and/or stamina brought you down further)?

In your PM, you mentioned using a variety of sources, but you didn't mention how you studied. Did you study on your own? With a friend? With a class or tutor?

Are you weak across all areas of verbal? (Probably not - most people have some stronger areas and some weaker ones.)

Are you struggling with content, technique, timing, or all of the above?
- If content, what specifically is giving you the most trouble? (eg, in SC, modifiers and verbs) Include in this category the different types of questions for CR and RC (eg, find an assumption vs. weaken or inference vs. main idea).
- On what types of questions or content areas are you struggling with technique or timing? (Technique is knowing how to identify / categorize a particular type of question and knowing what you're expected to do / answer as you move through the problem.)

Also give us any other detail you have noticed about your own strengths and weaknesses and the kinds of errors that you tend to make repeatedly.
