What is the ratio of the number of cups of flour to the number of cups of sugar required in a certain cake recipe?
(1) The number of cups of flour required in the recipe is 250 percent of the number of cups of sugar required in the recipe.
(2) 1 1/2 more cups of flour than cups of sugar are required in the recipe
Can someone please help..
Thanks. |

Answer is (A)
Condition 1: Flour is 250% of Sugar (Sufficient, one can easily switch between percentage & ratios)
Condition 2: F + 3/2 = S (Not sufficient, as ratio would be changed every time on changing the value of F or S.) _________________ Code Snooker | Happy to Help
