I have currently bought Official Guide to get started with my preparation for gmat. I have seen many posts that Kaplan and Manhattan books are also worth reading.

But Kaplan and Manhattan are having various versions for their books that I am not able come to a conclusion on which one to buy.
Please suggest me which book is worth buying in both Kaplan and Manhattan.

Thanks in Advance.

In Kaplan, is "Kaplan GMAT 2009 Premier Program (w/ CD-ROM) NEW" worth buying?

Similarly in Manhattan, I see there are different books for SC, RC and CR and also Maths section too. Similar to Kaplan Premier Program, is there any individual book in Manhattan which covers all the sections in English?

Buy Kaplan Premier, Kaplan 800 and MGMAT SC. They are the best other than OG.

This is the recommended list of books ( provided you have ample time )

1. Princeton Review
2. Kaplan Premier Program
3. Kaplan 800
4. MGMT SC
5. Official Guide.

Does that answer your question?

It depends if you want just more practice or better explanations.
The consensus seems to be that Kaplan gives harder questions so that's great for practice. I've heard MGMAT books have great explanations though I havent used any.
I recommend Kaplan Premier Program and Kaplan 800 if you want to have more difficult question explanations. I bought the Kaplan math workbook but havent started to use it yet.
