GMAT 700 with 6 yrs exp

Hello,

I am looking for MBA with specialization in Business Analytics. I have shortlisted Tepper, Kelley and McCombs etc. Looking for some guidance on my chances of getting admitted with substantial scholarship.

Graduation: B.E Electrical and Electronics from VTU.
Part Time 1 year course : Business Anlaytics from Indian School of Business (Hyderabad)
CGPA: 3.63
GMAT: 700
TOEFL: 111
Company: Top Auditing and Consulting firm based out of USA.
Work Ex details:
1. 6 Years of experience with 1 year onshore experience at Milwaukee USA for a Healthcare giant
2. I provide Business Intelligence solution to clients.
3. Lead a team of 10
4. Really passionate about analytics. Won competitions at the company level.
5. Provide advice to other project in my area of expertise (Business Intelligence and Analytics)

Extra curricular:
1) Taught English to adults at Team India program initiated by Times of India. Enabling my students to find better job opportunities.
2) Organized events in my college and office.
3) Kaggle freak. Love exploring data.
4) Numismatist.

Would like to pursue a MBA in Business Analytics or Information Management. I have around 6 years of experience working with for traditional BI solutions and some cutting edge analytics solutions. Led projects both at offshore and onshore. Looking for substantial scholarship and admit to some top universities.

Please advice if my profile is apt for the colleges I want to target. What are my chances of getting scholarships at these colleges.

Hey Luqman,
So your profile looks pretty good. You have a nice GPA and a good GMAT too (fantastic TOEFL by the way), which give you a good base. I especially like the leadership and international experience, (esp. the US experience).

Your GMAt although great, could be a weeee bit higher (you gotta figure that Indian applicants who are accepting are scoring a good 20 points higher than your average applicant, just because of sheer numbers), but I would hope that your real strengths in leadership and internationalism will do more than balance that out.
