GMAT 660(47Q,35V), interested in MPA program Post Sun Jun 24, 2012 12:01 am
I gave GMAT on 11 june 2012 and scored a 660(47Q,35V).I am an Indian female with 7 years of experience in IT industry.I am looking for a career change by pursuing MPA program in the USA with focus on Non profit and public management.I want to know a couple of things-
1. Is my GMAT score good enough for admission in MPA schools? Should I retake the gmat?
2. Some schools take GMAT instead of GRE, but many schools take only GRE, so should I give the GRE?
3. Almost all schools mention the average GRE for the admitted students? how do i find out its GMAT equivalent, to determine whether 660 is a comparable score?

Since this is an MBA forum, I'm not sure you'll find many people who know the answer to your question, however that said, I do not believe MPAs are as competitive as MBAs, so a 660 may gain you admits into better schools than it would if you were applying for an MBA.
