On the graph above, when x = 1/2, y = 2; and when x = 1, y = 1. The graph is symmetric with respect to the vertical line at x = 2. According to the graph, when x = 3, y =

(A) -1
(B) -1/2
(C) 0
(D)1/2
(E) 1

For graph refer page 153 of OG. Question no. 9. Please help. Not able to understand the OG explanation.

It can be seen that the graph is symmetric with respect to line x = 2, so the value of y when x = 3 will be the same as the value of y when x = 1, so y = 1.
