The argument regarding local radio advertisement is inconclusive for three reasons. First, it assumes that Cumquat Café last year's success was only because it began advertising in the local radio station. Second, the campaign try to stablish that all industries should advertise in the same way. Third, it doesn´t provide any evidence to conclude that Cumquat Café increased its sales because of the advertisement.

First, the argument implies that last year Cumquat Café only used as a marketing plan the appearance in the local radio station. It could be that as part of their marketing campaign, Cumquat Café also distributed flyers and offered discounts during the whole year. Even so, we would need to know the impact of all these marketing efforts to conclude that the local radio station strategy was the most effective.

Second, even if the argument proofs the effectiveness of the advertisement, it is implying that this success will be equal in every other industry or business. For example, a company that sales medical equipment only to hospital administrators it might won't benefit from a campaign in the local radio station.

Finally, the argument assumes that customers at the Café listen to the local radio station. The clientele at the Café could be teenagers, who nowadays only use their smart phone to listen to music or enter the social media to know about the news. So without this evidence we cannot conclude that the radio advertisement had anything to do with the Café's success.

So as presented, the argument makes several assumptions, that without any proof or further information it is very flawed.
