If 10^a*3^b*5^c = 450, what is the value of c?
(1) a = 1

Hi Fiza.

As you wrote the question, the correct answer is C.

However, you have left out a key detail. 450 is supposed to be 450.

With that detail added, even considering both statements, one can find many values for c that work.

Therefore, the correct answer is E.

To expand on that, if we have

10 * 6 * 5ᶜ = 450

we can divide both sides by 30 to find

5ᶜ * 2 = 15 * 450¹

Since c doesn't have to be an integer, there can be any number of solutions.
