Manhattan explanations say that - fewer incentives is correct and less incentives is wrong
    can someone please explain this?

Similarly we use - less money not fewer money.
incentives cannot be counted like money, we cannot say 1 incentive, 2 incentives....they are countable in groups as a collective values and thus I feel we should use - less incentives.

    Please help

    You can absolutely count incentives.

If you improve your productivity by 10% this month, I will give you a raise, a bonus, and a reserved parking spot.

How many incentives have I offered you?
