I decided to get an early start on my essays for schools (I haven't taken the GMAT yet, but plan to take in early July). My question is about the format.

Should the essay be double-spaced?

Should I use 1-inch margins? Something else?

The essays I have written thus far are single-spaced with a space between paragraphs.

I thought that double-spaced pages are mostly used to grade papers and provide feedback to students, so I decided to use single space.

Hi Ales,
Thanks for your post!

I don't have a strong opinion on this - as most schools will (1) clearly state formatting guidelines, or (2) have you upload the essay onto their website, in which they could adjust into a standard format.

Regards,

NP
