1> Is [x-y] > [x] - [y]?
(1) y<x
(2) xy<0> An integer greater than 1 and not prome is called a composite. If a two digit number n , is more than 20 , is n composite?
(1) the tens digit of n is a factor of the units digit of n.
(2) Tens digit of n is 2.


3> Machines X & Y work at their respective constant rates. How many more hours does it take Y working alone to fill a production order than it takes X working alone?
(1) X & Y working together does it 2/3 the time it takes when only X works alone.
(2) Y alone takes twice the time to do the work tha X alone.

Question 3) is E

both statements give y=2x. Question is asking for exact number hours y is greater than x.
