20. Is the positive integer n a multiple of 24?
(1) n is a multiple of 4.
(2) n is a multiple of 6.




Hi,

I though the answer was E) but actually the correct answer is E) -- Can anyone explain why?

Target GMAT Score: 720

Lets assume n to be 12 ..

12 is divisible by 4
12 is also divisible by 6 but it isn't divisible by 24.

So the best answer is E......... Very Happy

I was going to say "I thought the answer is C) but the correct answer is E) "
