My apologies codesnooker, but we can't release this kind of data. I don't want to project the impression of a walled garden, but we will not be able to provide individual feedback for applicants.

Eric, you are not giving the impression of walled garden, you are giving impression of "My way or highway". And that is completely against the core principles of "community". Community exists because we all exist...

Well, I dont want to sound harsh,
but this is not an essay exam, so we just can't expect our essays to be reviewed to get the feedback;
...this is an scholarship competition, beatthegmat had promised to offer the scholarships to five candidates and it is doing its job.

Honestly, I think, you (host/ organiser) can't set such expectations because you never know the number of aspirants applying for the scholarship.

I hope you understand this! Smile
