hi there...
the flashcards are great! one question/comment (not sure if this has been pointed out yet)...
you have a flashcard with "target to" and then give an example sentence. (the chocolate company targeted its advertising to single women). there is nothing on this flashcard to indicate that this is wrong.
Then there is another Target flashcard, stating that "targeted to" is incorrect, and "targeted at" is correct.
so....is target/ed to ever correct? or is the one flashcard wrong? |

hey eric,
thanks a lot for your quick response! i think i just found another typo on one of the SC flashcards. The one that is titled "Idiom: During" should probably say:
During + undefined TIME PERIOD is wrong.
instead of
During + defined TIME PERIOD is wrong.
Or did i get something wrong there?
I also have a question to the card labeled "Majority"
Are all the examples given on that card incorrect? Or is just the first example incorrect?
One last question: the card labelled "Ellipsis" says that when using comparisons with "than" or "as", one usually omits the verb comparators as in:
"He is shorter than she." Would that really be correct in terms of gmat grammar? it sounds so awkward to me....
Also some advice on how to make the flashcards even better: Did u ever think about numbering them? That way it would be so much easier to refer to different cards...
cheers,
sven |

Hi, thank you so much for this site!
I downloaded the flsh cards three times - but when I try to open the file I get an error message "there was an error opening this document - could not repair file" Am I doing something wrong or is the file corrupted?
Thanks for your help! |

Appears to be downloading fine for me. Perhaps you're using an old version of Acrobat? _________________ Eric

|
|
Hi, Just discovered your site today. Thanks! I'm an undergrad who's going to take the GMAT later this summer. Definitely looking forward to reading more of what's on here!
Thanks for the notecards too -- they look awesome. One thing I noticed (I'm not sure if it was brought to your attention yet, sorry if I'm being repetitive) is that all of the quantitative cards are labeled "V." (From the key, should be "Q.") Also, all the quantitative cards are labeled as "DS"; does this mean that all of the quantitative cards refer to/are applicable to the Data Sufficiency portion?
Thanks! |

Appears to be downloading fine for me. Perhaps you're using an old version of Acrobat? | problem is different. You should try some download accelerators such as Orbit GetFlash etc.
Normal download gives following error as uptowngirl just mentioned above. _________________ Your local GMAT study group

Thanks man!
One question: do we all agree that on Page 61 on the card "Probability and Geometry" the "Y" in the third last line should be an "X"?
Cheers |
