    Whats the difference btw Even as and while? i have seen the explainations about this question on this forum but somehow am not able to understand...pls explain...

    Hi ,

    Even as means : at the same time as.

    See the Eg : even as he lay dying they argued over his estate"; "the building collapsed just as he arrived

    While has a different meaning .. Here i guess while is used as a conjunction
    While was conjunction means : during or in the time that. There is a subtle difference .
    In this case i guess while is the correct word 2 use

    Even as is used for showing similarity.

    Am I right ??
