Paxton Helms is a veteran Kaplan admissions consultant who specializes in MBA and social science (masters and PhD) applicants. He has particularly rich experience with applicants to top-twenty and "reach" schools and his clients have been accepted to top programs throughout the United States and Europe.

Paxton can help applicants at every stage of the application process. Early on, he helps clients choose schools and think through how to position education, work experience, career goals, and possible obstacles to admission. Once schools are chosen, he offers expert advice on each part of the application and helps ensure that all of the pieces work together to make a compelling and internally consistent case for admission.

Paxton earned his MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA where he was as an International Management Fellow and specialized in international marketing and strategy. He has also completed two years of coursework towards a PhD in politics and sociology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He earned his BA with honors from Wake Forest University.
