Clarification required: GMAT Application on mba.com Post Sun Jan 01, 2012 9:22 pm
Hi

I want to apply for GMAT.
While submitting the application for test appointment, I get two questions:

What function best reflects what you would like to do after completing your degree?
and
What area of concentration would you like to pursue?

I am unsure of the area of concentration or function, though I have narrowed down some options.

Will this information have any effect on my overall application ?
Will this information be visible/available in my GMAT score submitted to B-schools ?

Please help, as I want to schedule an appointment ASAP.

Thanks
Aakash

Not sure if that info gets sent to the schools, but don't fret much about it. Just pick choices that closely match your interests, or at least your current function/field, and go ahead and register yourself a GMAT appointment.

Couldn't agree more. Don't fret about these boxes. Just choose the one you think fits best.
