Folks:

In order for this site to be more scalable and stable in the future, we have to change our hosting. I have decided to switch my hosts from 1and1 to GoDaddy.

From 5:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time) 10/13 through the evening of 10/15, I will be disabling all new posts to this forum while I work with a contractor to migrate the Beat The GMAT! database to our new server.

My apologies for the inconvenience! Just to caveat--any new user registrations made between 10/13 and 10/15 may be lost during the migration, so some new people in the community may need to re-register.

i query:
would you allot more space to people then?

Right now the forum board's offering limited Inbox space....
I dont know about the others but my Inbox is almos full and i dont want to delete the messages Neutral

Anyway

or would you consider my special case Very Happy

Yep, I think I would be open to adding more inbox space for folks. Smile

Excellent.

You'll be pretty happy with GoDaddy.

Also use their analytical tools (if they provide them to you with your account) well. It's muchos helpful analyzing the who/where/when of your visitors.

(PS: I hope you're doing a dry run first. In spite of GoDaddy's sustained quality, I've still encountered minor issues in the past during dry runs. No server is exempt from a few hiccups in the beginning.)
