Do I need to buy the Princeton review book to get access to the CAT? I know that 1 CAT is available online. What about the other ones

You need to either buy the book, take a course (online or classroom) or enroll in tutoring to receive access to all of our CAT exams. We do have one free available CAT exam on our website. That is always a great chance to see how you would score without any prep. Then review your results to see what prep option may work best. Good Luck.

Hi, I recently gave the sample CAT online, I scored a 710. I wanted to know how accurate the results are in terms of my ability to score over 600 on the GMAT. all i need is a score over 600, does the sample test indicate such a capacity?
please respond, i am just getting jittery before the actual test (its planned for 1st week of sept 2009)
Also, i have been preparing for about a month now. (that's not really a long time to prepare, but MAYBE that's all i need)

Yes that is not a lot of time for preparation. It is natural to get jittery so maybe another practice test may be a good idea. Good Luck

I gave the test under the time guidelines presented on the CAT (i.e 75 min each section)

I did run across 5 questions that I had done before, and my accuracy on the previously attempted questions was 75%(i.e I had done 1 or 2 questions wrong out of the 5 questions, when I saw them for the first time)
I don't think that would drop my score by 100 points, but if placed strategically, it could have dropped my score by 30 to 40 points. Question

I am planning to give the official GMATprep test in a few days. ( I wanted to finish my SC reading material completely)

Ill post my scores so a correlation between sample Princeton and sample GMATprep can be determined.

any further advice would be welcome.
thanks in advance
