Can somebody explain me Q69 OG 12

Of the four numbers represented on the number line
above, is r closest to zero?
    (1) q = -s
    (2) -t < q

Does this question implicitly assumes that q,r,s and t are integers ?

    <----|----|----|----|----> (number line)
    q r s t

    statement 1
    1) q=-s
    Assume s=2
    so q =-s=-2
As r is in between q & s, so it will be closest to 0.
    hence sufficient

    statement 2
    2) -t<q
    assume t = 5
q>-5, so it can be -4,-3,-2,-1,0... as all are greater than -5
It doesn't give any information about r.
    Hence not sufficient.

    so the answer is A
