Check out the GMAT Resource Wiki Book Section to see my recommendations for the best books to purchase to prepare for the GMAT.

Good luck!

In general, I trust all books coming from Manhattan GMAT. I can't comment on the CR or RC books though because I haven't had the chance to review them yet. I have however reviewed the SC book and it is fantastic.

Hi Eric,

Im planning to take my GMAT exam early next yr(Jan end -early feb). Im thinking to buy OG11, OG Quant & Verbal. Will these books be sufficient?

How abt thses books:
-Kaplan Math Workbook
-Kaplan 800 2007-08 ed
-Kaplan Premier Program with CD 2007 ed
-Princeton Review - Cracking the GMAT with DVD 2007 ed

I dont want to buy too many books as i not only have less time but also I'll end up getting confused. I've done engg. so i guess one referral book for quant n one for verbal along with OG11 will be enough for me. What do u recommend?

Looking for ur early reply,

Thanks,

molly

Check out my book recommendations here: http://www.beatthegmat.com/books.html

I think you're right that you probably won't need many quant books. However, think about adding the Manhattan GMAT SC Guide to your list, it's really great.

Hi, I already have the OG Quant & Verbal, and they are very useful. I wanted to know in which way the OG11 is different. Does it has more difficult questions?

The difficulty level should be consistent. OG11 just has more questions for your practice.

Hi Eric,

I'm going to start studying for the GMAT within the next couple of weeks. I've out of school for a while. I noticed that you recommend Kaplan's math workbook for someone who's been out of school.

What do you think of the EZ Solutions math books to refresh my math? Also, GMAT Cat has a math review.

Thanks,

Hip
