No I didn't correct CNN's grammar or did I read up on some really old books...

Instead, I kept telling myself while studying for verbal section for inspiration/motivation:

"If I can't learn proper grammar or comprehend literary passages at my age, my English verbal skills are no better than George W Bush's........Do I really want to be in the same league as George W?"

I actually had few people that emailed me about T DIAGRAM method.

I made this (MS Excel file) based on my MGMAT notes. I hope this makes sense.

more relevantly, George W Bush is ex HBS! First US president with an MBA I believe.

Off topic... anyone who obtains the highest rank in the US earns my respect. And as a person, I think a lot of criticism towards him is unfounded. Basically, the guys heading our countries have a tough job so I'm not going to judge...

Is there a book from MGMAT that has more examples of this T-diagram? I would like to practice this method and see how effective it is.

Congratulations! Amazing performance.

I got 520 the first time I took the GMAT and I underestimated the test just like you did (I thought it would be child's play). I fell flat on my face, too.

Hopefully, I score in the 700s like you did. I have more fear of the GMAT now so I have been studying harder.

So how much money did you spend on all the MGMAT and Kaplan stuff?

No less than 800 I would imagine?

Ninkorn,
Thanks!

Excellent verbal score. Fantastic achievement to have scored 50 on Verbal(no wonder your total score skyrocketed with 44 quant (which also is good).

Regards,
CR

Where are you planning to go for business school? I'm in the process myself, so any advice about work experience or just by telling me your plans should help. Thank you.
