Applying by the First deadline vs the Third deadline Post Thu Jul 12, 2012 11:48 am
Hi

I have a question specific to IESE Business school but is applicable to other schools in similar situations....On IESE's website I see a number of deadlines mentioned starting from September to June of the next year....Considering the rule of thumb, "the earliest deadline being your best bet for admission" , My question is I will not have all the required transcripts untill mid December'12 - early January'13 i.e the 3rd deadline....how severely would my chances dip compared to someone applying by the first deadline...Im an international female Indian student ....

Thanks for your help

It's true that chances dip as they go along. You might contact the Admissions committee though. Very often schools will only need "Official Transcripts" once you get in. If you have some sort of transcript you can send or self report, it might be enough for the time of application. But you gotta contact the school, because these are matters of internal policy.
