If the number of rhinoceroses is expected to increase by 10 percent, how many thousand acres should the preserve have in order to provide for the increased population?
a. 340
b. 330
c. 320
d. 310
e. 300

OA is a. 340...but, how?
the area of the preserve bfor the increase .. 3000*100 + 10,000 = 310,000 ..

.. 10% increase in the number of rhinos = 300 rhinos ... so the preserve wuld require a additional 300 * 100 acres of grazing area ...

so the total area of the reserve = 310,000 + 30,000= 340,000
