Topic: Admitted to Queen's School of Business Class of 2010

I just received an offer of admission from the Queen's School of Business MBA class of 2010!

My GMAT score was below 700. I only took the test once and didn't bother to rewrite because I knew that I (just) fell into the 80% range for my target schools (Queen's, Rotman, Ivey) and that the other parts of my application were quite strong. I scored interviews with all of these schools.

Don't be discouraged if you have a bad day when you write your GMAT. Adcoms take a very holistic approach to your application and as long as you can demonstrate that you can handle the academic rigor of the program in other ways (GPA, Professional designations) you'll be fine with a lower score.

Thanks to this community for the GMAT and admissions tips.

Hey congratulations! Queens is a great school and it's good to hear you were accepted even without the treasured 700 score that many people fuss about. Congrats!
