admission advice...

by nikhilbhargava » Mon Dec 21, 2009 3:30 am
Hello,

I recently joined this forum and found it pretty useful.

I am also planning to take GMAT soon and go for MBA. I want to do MBA in either consultancy (use my experience in IT/Telecom sector) or finance (my liking) and then work in India only. Here my doubts and I would appreciate if someone can address them

1. Where can I get the list of top 20 universities offering MBA in consultancy and Finance?
2. Is there any benefit in terms of salary and work, if one does MBA from outside India as opposed to doing it from here?
3. Does the foreign universities offer scholarship to MBA aspirants? I know for MS or PHD, they offer full schol.
4. Any suggestions about colleges I could look about. I am dependent 70% on schol/loan and 30% on my own resources.

Thanks for your time.

1. top finance schools:

2. consider going full time US or European business school

3. Most US b-schools will not finance MBA, but some offer scholarships to international students
