|
|
Hi everyone,
I just took one of the PR CAT's (number 4, if that matters) and got 8 wrong in each section...but they gave me V 39 and M 42, with an overall score of 650! Doesn't that seem low?
Now I know that it depends on WHICH questions I got wrong, but still...in the verbal section I got 8 out of the first 10 questions right, and on the math 9 out of the first 10.
Using the free GMATPrep software I got considerably more wrong, and managed a 750! Could anyone offer their advice?
Thanks,
Sam |

It's not worth spending the time to try figuring out the scoring algorithms. GMATPrep's algorithm is going to be much more accurate than any other practice test's.
You got it right: it's not how many you get right, but which questions you get right. Don't get too hung up on the myth of scoring the first few questions correct! |
