    IMO A.

    B - By skimming along the top of the atmosphere, what is skimming - proponents - wrong
    C - with it skimming along the top of the atmosphere needs to modify flying - this seems to be additional info here - wrong
    D - its doesn't have a clear referent.
    E - According to its proponents, skimming - wrong modifier.
