Thats a wonderful approach Cramya..but when it comes to absolute values, I first remove the absolute notations and use positive and negative values as we generally do to test absolute values..how do you approach all the absolute value questions generally ?

Moneyman,

I do it the same way too. For this problem I felt that it may be complicated and tried doing it the way I did.
