9 wrong answers = V28 ? Is that even possible?

 Lap   Why a timer is critical to improving your score
Hi,

I got 10 questions wrong (out of 41) on my KAPLAN CAT and received a 23/31%.

I got 20 questions wrong (out of 41) on a another KAPLAN CAT and got a 24/36% for my Verbal section.

Even if we accounted for the non-operational questions, it doesn't seem very possible to have that big a difference.

Is this even possible?

Generally , it's very hard to predict how official CAT will evaluate your score , how it interprets correct/incorrect to the scaled score , and KAPLAN is even harder ! you better practice with Kaplan tests and do not pay attention to the scores, more accurate indicator for your score would be Gmat prep or Manhattan GMAT
