Hi Rishi,

First off , Congrats on the superb score !!

I am not very confident in Quants and would like to know your study plan for this section.
I have read that you prepared from the books provided by one of the prep institutes in India for the India MBA entrance exams

Can you elaborate on any specify study schedule that you may have followed for the Quants section

Thanks in advance

Well, I was quite good at Quant as I had prepared for the CAT earlier so didn't study a lot for that. I used Sarvesh Sharma's Quantum CAT to revise my concepts. You may want to try some GMAT specific book though as Sarvesh Sharma has a CAT focus. Even if you want to do it, do only the first level of difficulty questions. That should be enough.
There are also some topics which are not tested on the GMAT for example races in TSD. You may want to do only those topics which are relevant to the GMAT.

Hey long time. Smile The status so far is : Got a reject from Harvard & Kellogg. Intereviews pending with Wharton, Stanford. Had the interview with Haas. Waiting for the decision.
Somehow I'm quite scared. I have a feeling that I might not be able to make it this year. :-/

For General management Kelley has a much better reputation.Am not sure about which school is better for corporate finance. For what it is worth, I think that Kelley is a much more renowned school and a better brand value. While Mendoza is also a good school but it is more of a regional school. Not many people in India would recognize Notre Dame and even on West Coast. If you are planning to work in Mid-west for sometime, then you may choose either as Mendoza has quite a good reputation in Mid-west. You may wanna contact bblast, one of the BTG members here who has applied to Kelley this year. I'm sure that he'd able to provide you more insights.

It wud be of great help. I already PM'd you my mail id. Thanx!
