750 (47q/46v) - retake because of relatively low quant? Post Sat Feb 25, 2012 10:02 pm
I would like to hear people's opinions on whether or not I should retake the GMAT. I got 750 but only 47Q, which translates to 76 percentile. I've heard that the top business schools use 80 percentile as a rule of thumb so I'm a bit concerned.

For reference, I'm targeting HBS, Stanford, Wharton, and Kellog.

Appreciate everyone's input, thanks!

That's a 98%ile score. Retaking it would be silly. Congrats!

congos for gr8 score,
IMO overall score and english is in gud percentile, but retaking because of quant would certainly depend on your mock scores and what you think. If you think you gonna take quant to 50-51 while keeping verbal >= 46. then you might certainly go on.
