I put up a 710 on the GMAT 93 percentile
Quantitative was a 46, which is 79 percentile
Verbal was a 42, which is 95 percentile.

I used the full suite of GMAC books, but I didn't crack the supplements. I took every data sufficiency and most of the problem solving problems. I took most of the verbal questions. The diagnostic put me 'above average' in everything but Data Sufficiency, which was average.

I took both GMATPrep tests one on Tuesday (It is Friday) and one on Wednesday and took the first one again on Thursday. 650/660/710 on those.

I bought all 12 of the practice tests and took 6 of them. Average was 671 with a SDEV of 27.

My test was at 2pm on Friday, and I got there about 1:15. I refreshed for about 15 minutes then was allowed to begin at 1:30. The room was quiet, and they also supplied earplugs. I took both of my breaks, taking a walk around the complex during the second walk. I also handled nature so that I wouldn't need to be distracted.

The Q took me about 65 minutes, so I was never pressed for time. The V took me about 35 minutes, so the last few questions I took extra time on. I started to fade about 25 questions into the V, so I shook it off, and sat up as straight as I could so that I wouldn't wander off mentally.

AWA I think I did okay. Not sure if I made a six, but certainly should be a 4 or better. I guess it depends on if the computer was pleased with it.

I didn't take any classes, and spent about 100 hours total. The studying not only helped me get used to the questions, but the GMATPRep computer exams look EXACTLY like the real test, which immediately put me at ease.

I think there was at least one question on the Q I thought was a trick, but I have a suspicion it was a test question and not a real one.

Target school is Indy (Kelley), with UMass (Isenberg), and Colo St U as safety schools, as I am a distance learning student. Indy is the 2nd highest rated Online MBA, and the one I could afford (Fuqua is 2x the money). Carey is a close third, and higher in other ratings, but it didn't fit me. Neither did T-Bird. Hoping this with my other application materials will be enough to get a scholarship of some sort to Kelley/Indy.

Good luck everyone!
