Congrats on your score! Can you share more details about your preparation strategy? There are a lot of people who want to study for the GMAT under one month, and you may be an example that inspires others.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you very much.

I am sorry i did not post enough information earlier.

Working and preparing for GMAT can be very difficult and aiming to beat it in 4 weeks is not easy. Coming from engineering background I was pretty confident about my quant skills and I was slightly disappointed by my quant score. I was hoping to score alteast 49.

I concentrated most of my time and efforts on verbal. I dedicated about 1 hr per day towards sentence correction excercises and about 1 or 2 RCs. I did quants only over the weekends. I found the verbal review to be a good book even though a lot of questions are repeated in OG. For AWA i read thru the AWA pdf available in this forum. I prepared a template of my own based on the various essays from that pdf. I wanted to share that template with you readers but unfortunately my system crashed about 10 days ago and I had to replace the hard disk and I lost the template.

For 4 days before the exam, I attempted about 7 mock tests but was able to complete only 4 of them. I was unable to complete the remaining ones out of frustration and exhaustion. I strongly recommend against taking so many tests just before the exam.

So folks, go beat the gmat.
Happy new year

congrats for your score buddy.

i wish we c hv got that AWA template... Sad nevermind, would just bump on awa section and tell us how you made one?

tell you what ... i hv been hearing not so great reports about quant lately . Neutral hmm i can sense the trend now...
GMAT quant is no doubt tough ... and we engineers just ignore that part Sad
