Hi,
I scored 620 in GMAT 45Q, 31V
I have a 4.0 GPA
Work experience as a software engineer of 4 years.

I am looking forward to persue a MBA in International business in USA. I am not sure which universities should I apply?
Also can you suggest which site gives best reviews of colleges and their respective courses.
Please suggest me the universities where i can apply?

Thanks.

Dear Navjyot,

There are so many resources available out there on business schools. I think it is helpful for you to first determine a priority list of what you are seeking in a program though before you start doing research; that way, you can focus your efforts to identify those schools that are a good match for you. I encourage you to visit our sticky on school selection for tips on identifying schools. In terms of websites, there are the various rankings where you can get access to tables with the statistics to see how your profile measures up. There are also other publications, like the Princeton Review, which conducts surveys amongst students on different aspects of MBA programs. The most comprehensive website of MBA programs is mba.com. The site will allow you to search global programs on a variety of criteria.

Happy researching!
Lisa

Hi Stacy,
with my profile as mentioned in the earlier post...

I sorted uot some colleges

Georgetown University

Washington University in St. Louis (Olin)
St. Louis, MO

Indiana University--Bloomington (Kelley)
Bloomington, IN

Georgia Institute of Technology
Atlanta, GA

Arizona State University (Carey),
Tempe, AZ

Texas A&M University--College Station (Mays)
College Station, TX

Rice University (Jones)
Houston, TX

University of California--Davis
Davis, CA

University of Iowa (Tippie)
Iowa City, IA

University of Texas--Dallas
Richardson, TX

Southern Methodist University (Cox)

I am not able to finalise the list of universities. I am very confused on what to select and what not. . My hot fav is Georgetown i would love to do the consulting course there but looking at my GMAT, I am not confident to get into the university.

What do you think, which one should be eliminated from the list above?

awaiting reply.
Thanks Stacy
