Hi,
I just took the test.
Total: 610 (Q: 42, V:32)
I am very unhappy with my score. I was shooting for 700.

I have been studying for 3 months. I took a prep class (Kaplan) and also did a lot of self studying. I studied on avg. 12 hours per week (not including the class).
Materials:
-- OG, ed. 10 and ed.11.
-- Kaplan class materials (book and pratic tests)

I took all the Kaplan practice test and was scoring pretty good on those (usually aboe 660).

On Sunday I took the GMAT Prep test-1 and score 700.

I really need some advice on what I need to do at this point?
Do you think my strategy for studying was incorrect? Any suggestion on improving?

Thanks

You might want to read through some examples of study strategies in this community. Check out:

Remember that the key is quality over quantity. A lot of hours devoted to study won't guarantee a good score--having a solid study strategy in place is critical.

beatthegmat,
Thanks for the answer . I will check the forums out.
I am just concern that all the materials will be repeated (OGs) and wondering how much added value would I get ?

thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about repeating questions at this point. Check out the wiki link in my previous post, and you'll find thousands of free practice problems for you to tackle.

One additional note--there is value in repeating OG--I would think about going over the difficult questions once more.

Best of luck!
