4 weeks to prepare! Post Mon Jul 24, 2006 11:42 am
I'm a non-business undergrad who is looking to take the exam in 4 weeks.

I am strong in verbal but it looks like I need to tackle quant as I have not taken a math course since my freshman year of college (stats).

The school I am applying to has an average score of 500- does it seem possible for me to score above this mark with only 4 weeks of studying? I'd love to make it closer to 600 to improve my chances...

Do you have a suggestion for compressing studying into 4 weeks? My greatest asset at this point is that I have 8 hours per day in a semi-noisy environment, a computer and free time.

500 is an easy score to get...you could probably get that with almost no studying at all.

If you only have a month I would do Cracking the GMAT, Official Guide, and GMATPrep tests (those tests are free for downloading on www.mba.com).

I also would not spend 8 hours a day...that's just too much and you'll burn out. 3-4 max!
