Time for a newer new poll! This one is from 3 years ago.
The Veritas Prep practice tests are new as of July 2013 and seem to be giving very reliable results as well as a great tools for analysis.
Veritas students have access to five of these and one is free to all! Here is the link to the free one. https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/free-gm ... tice-test/
Enjoy!

I got myself enrolled as gmat aspirant and got throughly prepared myself by gmat practice test ny manyagroup.com princeton review
Since I'm taking the test for the third time, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for practice tests outside of MGMAT and MBA.com. I've taken all of the MGMAT tests 3 times and the MBA.com ones at least twice. My concern is that my scores will be skewed higher on the practice tests I've already taken.
As some additional context I scored 600 and 630 on my actual tests, but my practice tests are typically in the 670 - 730 range.
Please help! Are the 800 ones recommended by MGMAT any good?
Danielle

Great News! Veritas Prep has just made a package of 5 practice tests available for purchase in addition to the one test that is free. The free Veritas test has only been around since the spring and the additional tests were made available to Veritas students only in July. These tests have no relation to the tests that Veritas used before that time. If you read reviews of any Veritas test from before this those are the old tests and you can ignore those reviews.
The new tests are considered by many students to be the best tests available outside of the official GMAT Prep. The algorithm is based on tens of thousands of actual student responses and the the adaptive ability of the tests is extremely impressive. The interface is also very helpful, giving such information as "The three least difficult problems that you missed" and the "average time that you took on each question type" (as well as each individual question, of course) and lots of other helpful info!
Anyway, do not take my word for it. Try the free practice test at this link: https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/free-gm ... tice-test/
and you can find the additional practice tests for purchase once you have created a free student account.
Best of luck in your studies!
(Oh and the 800 score tests that you asked about are not bad on the Quant side, on the verbal side they are not very realistic).

You know what...it's common that you see a scaled score difference of 60 to 120 points LESS on the real test compared to your practice tests.
For example, if your target score is 520, you have to consistently score 580 to 620 on your practice tests.
If your target score is 700, you have to consistently score 760 or higher on your practice tests.
Of course it is not my statement!

Try Manahattan prep. Kaplan is also good. In case you like to study on mobile try some app like Magoosh, gradestack etc.
Actually, if you can spend some time, try one practice test from each of the preparation companies followed by GMATPrep. See on which test you can score closer to GMATPrep and, based on the accuracy of the results when compared to GMATPrep, consider those tests as your preparation progress metrics measurers for rest of your study plan.

The trouble with too many people is they believe the realm of success always lies within their exam preparation & hard work and not with his or her Manager
